
I just factored the effort required against other ways to make great useful sounds and decided it wasn't for me. I'm sure they'll be plenty folks who'll be willing to get much more out of it than I was. After spending a couple long programming sessions with it, I couldn't get the sound of those buttons out of my head. It's also where 80% of the button pushing is required.

That's were 80% of the programming is done on Wavestate for it's main use.

But Korg should of spent more effort on the hands on UI of the wave sequencing engine and put it on a larger screen IMO.

Wavestate has all the right hands on controls for the filter, EG, and LFOs. More over, Wavestate is more like how older digital synths were programed because the processing power was less and the costs of screens were more. For example, Hydrasynth does not require the same level of parameter paging and there are multiple screens to use.
